COVID-19 Office update and Telehealth

Idaho Ear Clinic continues to closely monitor the evolving COVID-19 virus and is in regular contact with health agencies for information and guidance. As always, we also maintain close relationships with local, state, national and international public health authorities and will inform you if anything changes.

Our office remains open. We continue to see patients on a reduced schedule to allow careful cleaning between patients and to help follow social distancing guidelines. Please contact us at (208) 938-5823 regarding your next appointment, and to schedule a telehealth visit. We are here for you to address any concerns you might have.

Remember that you should also continue to utilize our Patient Portal to send our staff a message and you will receive a reply as it is monitored daily.

Patient Portal

Please note that we are restricting patients/visitors if:

  • Patient/Visitor has a fever
  • Have a cough or flu like symptoms
  • Have travelled outside the area or internationally
  • Have been in contact with someone with a confirmed COVID-19 infection
  • Has been advised to quarantine for any reason.

We have and continue to implement preventive measures as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as our own health and hygiene protocols.

Telehealth Visits Are Available

Please contact our office at (208) 938-5823 to schedule a telehealth visit. Our staff is ready to assist you! This is a convenient way to have a live video conference with our doctors for new patient evaluations and follow up visits. You will receive instructions before your scheduled appointment to be placed into the virtual waiting room.

It is important that prior to your telehealth visit you have a working smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer with a functioning camera, microphone and speaker, and an internet connection.

Surgery Patients

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, please note that our surgical schedulers have been reaching out to patients who have elective surgeries to reschedule them. If you have any questions, please contact the office and our surgical schedulers will assist you.
